Mission trips changing lives around the world
I grew up in a Christian family and believed I was a Christian because of that, but it wasn't until 6th grade that I realized I wasn't truly a follower of Christ. I just knew about him. It was during spiritual emphasis week, and the speaker was talking about how there are 4 chairs you can be in in life, but only one leads to eternal life with God. I realized I was not in the right chair. I was in the chair where I said I was a Christian but did not have a personal relationship. That night in 6th grade, I chose to give my life over to Christ and follow him for the rest of my life. I slowly began to get less angry and to stop finding my identity in people or sports, instead finding it in Christ. Over time, the Lord began to open my eyes to how important it is to share his gospel with those who haven't heard it and to be the laborers who go out into the world to share that good news with everyone else.
