Mission trips changing lives around the world
Growing up, I would have told you that I was living the Christian life, but I had no idea what that actually meant. I didn't come to know the Lord truly until I came to college. I got plugged into a college ministry and I was asked in a 1:1 meeting if I knew what the Gospel was, and I simply had no answer. It was revealed to me then what the Gospel is and what it means, not only for me, but for everyone in creation. Finally understanding the weight of my sin and how that separated me from God was a hard blow, but it made it so much sweeter when I also finally understood WHO Jesus is and how I can again have a relationship with the Father through His undeserving death on the cross for us. Now that I have received that gift, I have given my life to Him and it is my ultimate goal to live out His command of "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20a - ESV). So, each day, I make it my aim to share the wonderfully, good gift I have received with others.
